About

A little more about me

I am fortunate to have been born and raised in the shadows of the Tetons. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of British Columbia and later completed a graduate diploma in secondary education at the University of Wollongong in Australia.

While teaching high school, I became increasingly interested in individual experiences and realized that learning and growth depend on a foundation of psychological safety. This insight led me to spend the next five years working as a vocational rehabilitation counselor, where I developed a deep appreciation for the diverse ways disability—both visible and invisible—shapes people's lives. It was during this time that my passion for mental health emerged and ultimately led me to pursue a master's degree in counseling at Utah State University.

Since graduating, I have worked in a group private practice, an intensive outpatient program, and within an integrated behavioral health model through a local hospital system. These experiences have given me broad clinical experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, family and relationship challenges, medical diagnoses, and disability-related concerns.

Outside of my work as a therapist, I am a mother, wife, friend, artist, home renovator, and semi-cautious explorer of the outdoors.
